1971-72 Heavy Chevy Chevelle Featured a unique stripe kit which started at the front fender continued through the door ending at the rear quarter panel. The 1971-72 Heavy Chevy was also identified by Heavy Chevy names placed on each fender, trunk and hood. The hood name is a smaller version of the fender/trunk name. The uniqueness of the side stripes featured a thin row of stripes with a side band in the middle. Our stripes are recreated from original NOS GM stock featuring the correct angles for the fender/door opening and quarter panel/door as well. Unique to the door stripe is how GM has the precut section where the door handle is placed. What is in a price? It is important to NOTE that GM screen printed the stripes on clear vinyl which is the same process we use. A less expensive way is to computer but due to the width of the smaller stripes on could end up with the stripes releasing compromising the appearance of the stripe kit. Our white kit is double hit so that when placed on a dark color car the color will remain white which would not happen on a single hit stripe. Included with the complete stripe & decal kit is a 3M vinyl information application sheet, squeegee, and two page story on the 1971-2 Heavy Chevy model.
|GM Was First…
We Were Second…to offer a complete stripe & decal kit in October of 1989. Even the part numbers are the same ones used by GM.
